DARY Organization, with the support of the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) and the cooperation of the Ministry of Health, continues to hold developmental workshops that include staffs from health departments in nine governorates: (Baghdad, Diyala, Dhi Qar, Nineveh, Kirkuk, Muthanna, Diwaniyah, Karbala, and Najaf).
 These workshops, implemented in Baghdad, involve 66 trainees to receive training in providing counseling to women using the DTM tool prepared by the Ministry of Health and UNFPA, which includes new explanations and clarifications about developing mechanisms for reproductive health, family planning and childhood, as well as how to  Providing counseling to women, starting with advices on organizing pregnancy, its timing, spacing between one pregnancy and another, using contraceptives in accordance with health advice, to reduce the rate of maternal mortality and disease for the mother and children.
 It is worth noting that the UNFPA, in cooperation with DARY Organization, has previously implemented many training and development programs for Iraqi health departments staff in the field of reproductive and women’s health.
