The Labor trapped her in the car ... DARY's maternity unit staff in the Al-Bakr neighborhood in Heet - Anbar intervened and saved the mother and her newborn.

When labor started, nothing stands in the way of the newborn, the sudden labor for women who are in the term- month of childbirth, they must prepare for this day on all levels, but the miscalculation of the gestational age may have another opinion.
M. Z. K. (29) years old lives in Al-Zawiya in Al-Bakr neighborhood in Heet district in Anbar. She did not expect that labor pains would be so sudden and fast that don& 39;t let her reach a maternity unit or a specialized hospital. she was planning since the beginning of her gestation like her three previous births, to go to a specialized health institution to have a normal vaginal delivery, but the late arrival wanted otherwise.
On Sunday (24/05/2020) mid-day, the pain intensified more on M. Z. K. , as her husband rushed to transfer her to the maternity unit of the Al-Bakr neighborhood, which is run by DARY Humanitarian Organization with funding from the World Health Organization (WHO).
and when he became near to the main entrance, his wife started to deliver the baby which is hard to stop this process or delay under any circumstances, at that time, he had no choice but to ask for help to save his wife and the baby.
The supervisor of the Maternity unit, "Alaa Shaker" (38) years, says: "At 1:30 pm, one car stopped near the outside door of the delivery room, and there was a voice calling for help and saying:" My wife was delivered in the car. "Then I rush with the staff, consisting of Doctor “Hind Abdel Rahman”, the midwife (Kurdistan Khalil) and the nurse (Wiroord Jeshi), adding, “I talked to the husband and calmed him :“ Don& 39;t worry. We will save the situation, do not move anything. so the doctor and midwife cut the umbilical cord and checked her and conduct all postpartum examinations.
"Dr. Hind" (27) years old describes the scene and says, "We saved the mother and her child from outside the place designated for childbirth. The humanitarian duty pushed us to do so despite the difficult situation and the place was very narrow and non-sterile ." We decided to run the mission, so we cannot wait or move her inside. As for the certified midwife, "Kurdistan (57) years old," talked and said: "It was a distinguished birth and a unique experience that gave us experience to deal with such births that may occur in the future.
"After the pain of childbirth subsided, the mother described the scene: “I did not imagine that I would put my newborn in this way that I used to hear about in the stories and see her in the TV series, I really did not expect that it would happen to me.” and also said: the delivery room staff dealt with me with full of humanity and professionally, they made an event that will never forget it, It was great challenge for them, and the skills has absorbed the event. ”She adds,“ I would like to have a birth here again and tell everyone about this location and its services are very good.
”Many women may lose their lives during childbirth or lose their fetuses, and perhaps both cases due to the late arrival to hospitals, due to living in far areas as well as the difficult economic conditions, where the costs are high, but this sad scene began to recede after DARY humanitarian organization, with funding from its international partners, operated a number of maternity units (delivery rooms) . Free of charge services in the governorates of Anbar and Nineveh to provide sexual - reproductive and maternal health (SRMH) services for antenatal and postnatal care (ANC - PNC) and  gynecological consultations.
The mission of the maternity unit was not working outside the unit, but inside it, wheres all the medical supplies and consumables for childbirth are available and appropriate health conditions, but the high human sense and a sense of professional and moral responsibility made the staff rush and take the initiative to save the life of the mother and her newborn to write a unique success story.
